This iconic site has an impressive heritage depicted by the black plaque. A memorable stay is on the cards when lodging in this grand building where Karl Marx and Johann Strauss were former guests. It was also home to Mazi's restaurant and has retained the evocative signage on the exterior.

With the theatre of an open kitchen and a Robata charcoal grill, Leicester House is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed lunch or dinner Signature dishes include Blackened Squid with salt, pepper, lime and chilli or Scallops with seashore vegetables, mirin, herbs and bone broth and Smoked ribs, Kaffir lime, coriander. 'Bigger dishes' will include Bone broth, pork collar, crab wonton or BBQ rump, dried shrimp, chilli, ginger rub. Side/vegetarian dishes include Green papaya, daikon and cashew slaw.
